Looking at the efforts led by the Libyan government under the leadership of Dr. Osama Hammad, and the efforts of the Libyan Arab Armed Forces that have restored security and stability in the city of Benghazi, as well as the efforts of the Reconstruction Fund and Committee, the city of Benghazi today stands out among the cities that enjoy stability and peace. This recognition came from the “100 Cities for peace” organization, an international institution, which today grants global acknowledgment that the city of Benghazi is experiencing a state of security and stability. This achievement is a matter of pride, and we congratulate our people in the city of Benghazi, the Libyan government, our armed forces, and all Libyans on this significant moral accomplishment.
