On Monday, July 22, 2024, The Director of Protocol of the Green Mountain at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, accompanied by the Director of the Shahat Archaeological Office, received the Italian Mission of the University of Campania. Professor Serenella Ensoli and her accompanying delegation, were welcomed at Alubrag International Airport. The purpose of the visit is to work in the archaeological city of Shahat and the Shahat Archaeological Office, within the framework of benefiting from foreign expertise in this field, in cooperation and partnership between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities of the Libyan Government.
