The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, Dr. Abdulhadi Lahweej, is on an inspection visit to the Eisyen land border crossing. His Excellency Dr. Lahweej, was briefed on the progress of work at the Eisyen land border crossing and the challenges facing the people who work there. He also listened to their observations and needs to improve performance and facilitate procedures. The Minister emphasized the importance of this crossing in enhancing economic and trade cooperation between Libya and its neighboring countries, stressing the need to develop and modernize it, to become an important communication channel between Libya and Algeria, considering the people in the two neighboring countries as one nation, especially that within this crossing the Libyan and Algerian blood has mingled while facing the ruthless colonialism in the past. These efforts aim to strengthen communication and trade exchange between Libya and its neighbors, which will contribute to supporting the national economy and achieving stability and development in the region.
