Tuesday, July 9, 2024. At the premises of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture, The Director of the European Department, Dr. Adel Bakar, met with the Ambassador of the Hellenic Republic, the President and members of the Chamber of Commerce Board and the Consulor of the Hellenic Republic. During the meeting, various topics of mutual interest in the political, economical, and investment fields were discussed, including the contribution of Greek businessmen and companies, and benefiting from Greek expertise in the reconstruction projects that are taking place in Benghazi and other cities under the control of the Libyan government. They also discussed the procedures related to issuing visas, opening the airspace for Libyan airlines, and opening the maritime line between Benghazi and Athens, in order to enhance cooperation and develop the relationship between Libya and Greece.
