July 2, 2024, at the Ministry of Justice headquarters in Benghazi The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Libyan Government, Dr. Abdulhadi Lahweej, met with the Minister of Justice of the Libyan Government, Cllr. Khaled Masoud. The meeting discussed common topics between the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Justice, including preparations for the draft response to the annual report issued by the Human Rights Council regarding the Ministry of Justice and institutions of reform and rehabilitation, before the Human Rights Council session dedicated to Libya on July 8th. An agreement was reached to form a joint committee of experts to review all international agreements signed by Libya, or those that have been signed and ratified, and to assess their compatibility with national laws in our country.
