The Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdulhadi Lahweej, met with the Secretary-General of the Libyan Red Crescent Society, Mr. Omar Jaouda. This meeting aimed to strengthen the role and capacity of the local partner, emphasizing the circular issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation regarding the prohibition of direct dealings with international organizations except through a trusted local partner. The meeting also discussed the humanitarian response, the efforts of the Libyan Red Crescent Society, and its role in supporting the Libyan authorities and government.
