They reviewed ways to enhance cooperation between the Libyan government and the Belgian government through the exchange of visits by official delegations and organizing meetings between Libyan officials and their Belgian counterparts. The importance of this conference and the recommendations and resolutions it will yield, aimed at reducing the phenomenon of migration, were highlighted. Migration is one of the main issues hindering political, economic, and social stability in transit countries, particularly Libya. The meeting underscored the importance of spatial development as a fundamental means to reduce irregular migration, emphasizing the need to establish continuous communication networks between African countries and European Union countries, which are the destinations for these migrants.
