Upon the directive of His Excellency the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Dr. Abdulhadi Lahweej. The Minister's Advisor for International Organizations Affairs, Dr. Faraj Al-Hassi, met with the Chief of Response Officer at the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), Mr. Imad Saleh, and the UNHCR Government Liaison Officer. The meeting was attended by the Director of the General Protocol Administration, the Director of the Civil Society Organizations Administration, and the Official of the Communities at the Consular Affairs Administration. The discussion focused on the circular issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs regarding the regularization of the legal status of all organizations and their work within the framework of the local partnership. It also addressed the response to the wave of displacement of our Sudanese brothers. The Advisor also explained the instructions of the Honorable Minister on the need to coordinate with the Ministerial Committee formed by the Prime Minister, Dr. Osama Hammad, under Decision No. (56) of 2024, in developing plans, identifying needs, and intervention mechanisms.
